Ritah Dancehall injures leg during london  Sheebah & cindy battle . She missed a step on stage during their performance that has now left her on crutches

Sensational dancer Ritah Dancehall has been forced to halt her dancing activities after an intense leg of the Sheebah versus Cindy music battle that

took place on Saturday, November 4 at the Royal Regency Hotel, London.

Real name Ritah Nasaazi, she is a Sheebah Karungi stan and they travelled together for the gig as part of the Nkwatako singer's dancers.

She however missed a step on stage during their performance that has now left her on crutches. Via social media, she shared a photo of her injured

leg with a pair of crutches captioned, "Stepped Bad off the stage. New life for sometime. We had a good show."

Known for her electrifying moves that call for summoning a lot of energy, a section of her fans have since advised her to consider using less energy

on stage to move her body instead appearing to be on a mission of upstaging the main artiste.

Singers Sheebah & Cindy first battled musically at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds on September 15. Then they headed to Mbale where according to

Cindy, it was just a normal concert without the kind of atmosphere at Kololo. After London, they are now set for Dubal on November 10, 2023

COMEDIAN SALVADOR EXPLAINS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BOBI WINE AND BEBE COOL

Comedian Salvado has explained what, according to him, differentiates two longtime rivals, Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine, based on the time he has

known both of them and how each reacted when he seemed not to act in their interest.

Speaking to a prominent media personality via YouTube, he narrated that he goes way back with Bobi, having been friends since 1998. And he got to

know him through Bebe Cool, who was his sister's good friend. However, when a photo of him with President Museveni at State House Nakasero

appeared online in January 2020, Bobi Wine didn't bother reaching out to inquire; he just reacted instantly.

"I used to go to meet Bebe Cool, and I would find him with Bobi Wine. That's how I got to know him personally. These political things are new. He

(Bobi) started seeing me from the political aspect and forgot all those years of friendship. He even unfollowed me on Twitter (now X). I was hurt. I

can't apologise to him. If you ever hear a story about me and believe it, you have chosen a side. Why should I call you to apologise?" wondered

Salvado.

Meanwhile, he said when Bebe Cool got pelted with bottles at Cindy's Boom Party Concert at the Lugogo Cricket Oval in March 2020, he was told

Salvado laughed hard and clapped. He got angry and showed up at his comedy show, worrying everyone that he was there to pick up a fight, yet he

had shown up to hear his side of the story. The reason he has a lot of respect for Bebe Cool

"He was told I clapped when I heard they pelted him with bottles. He got angry with me for a while and then looked for me at my show. People said

he was going to beat me. We sat down for an interview. The moderator asked me why I laughed. I explained myself. I asked first of all: who released

the clip? Ashburg Kato, who was pro-Bobi Wine. Then I asked, How does your enemy release a clip about your friend, and do you believe the enemy?

He paused, and we talked man to man. That is why I will respect Bebe Cool all my life till I die," explained Salvado

BUNYORO BASED LOCAL MUSICIAN SERENA Ti9 HOIMA IN LIVE CONCERT

Bunyoro-based local musician Serena Ti9 rocked Hoima City on Saturday evening in a live concert hosted at HB in Hoima City.

It was the first Serena Ti9 live concert in Bunyoro, dubbed 'Serena Ti9 Live-in-Concert, that registered a sold-out turnout, standing out as a

successful one.

Serena was accompanied by Bunyoro's celebrated singers, who entertained the revellers till the day break in the oil city.

Gospel singer David King, Kahoora Boys crew, and Figo West of Hoima are some of the Hoima-based artistes who performed, while those from

Greater Masindi included Kimxeller, Coco Thunder, and Prince Keza Jojo Bigz.

David King shook the stage with his 'Wave the Flag' song that proved to be still standing to capture the audience, as evidenced in the Serena Ti9

concert when fans waved as they enjoyed his performance.

Another exciting moment of the concert was the live performance of Serena and Rapadico's love song called 'Love Dose'.

Serena Ti9 also performed her songs 'Otalyeijukya' (Never regret) and 'Tukumachinga' (we are matching) before she was disrupted by sound

hardships that escalated at the peak of the concert.

The gig did not only add to live concerts among Bunyoro artistes but also acted as a sign of solidarity among themselves. The in-fights normally

blamed for the underdevelopment of the music industry in the region appeared to resolve as many fellow artistes supported her primarily.

Video producer and director, Matthias Mwesigwa, a.k.a. Young Matic, was also present and hailed and credited the concert as a success.

"I thank the party animals who turned up for this concert. This is a new trend where we are supporting each other," he said.

KING SAHA EXPLAINED WHY HE CHANGED CONCERT DATES

King Saha's concert dates have been very hard to predict. At the beginning of 2023, he announced that he would hold a concert on February 14,

2023.

He, however, fell sick at the time, and the concert was pushed. Around the same time, Saha released a banger dubbed 'Ebiseera Ebyo' and decided

that it would be the theme for his concert, which he then scheduled for early 2024.

He chose January 26, 2024, at the Lugogo Cricket Oval and called upon all his fans to save the date and plan to attend.

Now, he has changed the concert dates for the third time. King Saha, real name Mansur Ssemanda, says his concert dubbed "Ebiseera Ebyo" will

happen on Friday, December 8, 2023, at Hotel Africana.

During a press conference held at Hotel Africana on Wednesday, Saha said it has always been his dream to have a concert at Hotel Africana, and

when the availability of the venue was communicated to him, it informed his decision to reschedule the concert backwards.

Flanked by the veteran saxophonist Moses Matovu of the Afrigo band and B2C singers, Saha was bullish about filling up the venue.

"When the availability of the venue was communicated to me, I said, Why not? I have always wanted to perform for my fans at Hotel Africana. It is

happening this year. My concert, Ebiseera Ebyo, should crown the year in concerts," Saha said at a press conference.

Saha, who has partnered with Vision Group's Bukedde TV and Radio, was grateful for the partnership. "I am with the right partners as regards

publicity. Let me concentrate on studio time because that is what I understand best," he said.

At the same press conference, Afrigo's Moses Matovu lambasted the idea of music battles, which have preoccupied many minds since the

successful Sheebah-Cindy battle at the Kololo ceremonial grounds.

"I think music battles are done by selfish promoters. These battles will not grow the industry. They only benefit a few people. If promoters want to

grow the industry, they should organise music festivals," he said.

Ebiseera Ebyo will be King Saha's fourth concert in his illustrious career.

FREEDOM CITY MANAGEMENT ACCUSED FOR DEATH BY ABTEX

Jan 06, 2023

Abtex was remanded to Luzira prisons following the death of ten revelers at the Freedom City Mall on New Year’s Day. According to the promoter, the charges should have been directed towards the owners of the premises. In his defense, he stated that he was not the person in charge of the fireworks display, that caused the stampede, he was not a custodian for gate’s keys. He further states that the planned arrangement by Freedom City management was that if the venue is closed, fans would have to access the fireworks display through the parking lot..

WHY BEBE COOL SHOULD BE HIRED FOR SHS1.5M

Jan 07, 2022

Events promoter Andrew Mukasa, alias Bajjo, shocked Ugandans on Wednesday when he said Bebe Cool should be paid Shs1.5 million to perform at a show, valuing him less than younger talent like Grenade Official. Bajjo, who is the coordinator of the National Promoters Association.David Lutalo, according to Bajjo -- is the most valued musician at Shs7m, coming below Bobi Wine, who is now a politician, valued at Shs20 million. The reasons for giving Wine that figure are obvious. Asked why Lutalo is valued higher than the rest, he said: "Because he is a crowd-puller. Lutalo and Sheebah are crowd-pullers. Mzee [Fred] Sebatta may pass by and you don't even notice him, but when he announces a show, you'll come." He added: "But Ziza Bafana and Bebe Cool will always attract your attention but you won't attend their concerts." Bajjo offered Gravity Omutujju Shs1.5-2m because "he has bubble gum music."Bajjo released a list containing new costs for hiring singers, giving Kenzo Shs7 million, Pallaso (Shs3.5 million), Jose Chameleone (Shs5 million), Grenade (Shs1.5-2m), Sheebah Karungi (Shs5-6m), Winnie Nwagi (5-6m), Spice Diana (4-5m), Mesach Ssemakula (3-3.5m), Geoffrey Lutaaya (2-3m), King Saha (2.5m) and Kapa Cat (Shs500-600,000).
